The East Bay CNA School Leadership Team is made up of home care experts who are devoted to creating a challenging and innovative class room experience. Each team member comes with extensive experience in home care and are committed to being professional, efficient and compassionate at all times. Bridget Waller, RN

CEO & Founder

Bridget has owned and operated East Bay CNA School’s parent company Hillendale Home Care since 2002. Bridget who originally trained in Charing Cross Hospital in London, leads the care management team at Hillendale and continues to play a large role in the day-to-day care of the many clients and staff members. Bridget’s years of nursing experience and her love for caring for clients in their homes makes Hillendale Home Care unique. In 2012 she founded East Bay CNA School which is certified by the state to train Certified Nurse Aides.

Diane Zink

School Administrator

Diane graduated at CSU San Francisco where she received her teaching credential. Diane is the administrator for the East Bay CNA school and oversees all aspects of the school from recruitment to graduation. Her attention to detail and problem-solving skills has made her an asset to the growth of the school over the last 8 years.

Nicole Murry, RN, BSN

Program Director

Nicole joined the Hillendale team in 2017 as a nurse educator. In 2019, she took over as Program Director of the school and currently oversees all aspects of the CNA, HHA and CEU programs. Nicole graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and a minor in pre-medicine. After joining an emergency ultrasound research team at UCI Medical Center, she decided to pursue a nursing degree. Nicole graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and began working as a critical care nurse. She also has nursing experience in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Public Health, and has nearly completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP). In her spare time, Nicole enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband, four children, and pets.

Ann Spafford, RN, BSN

Instructor

Ann earned her BSN in 1980 at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. She had a successful career at Stanford Healthcare Services and retired in 2012. She always enjoyed home care and after retirement provided care for adult and pediatric clients in their home . A lifelong learner, Ann became a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. Ann obtained her DSD in 2015 and began teaching the CNA, HHA, and CE classes at Hillendale Senior Care and East Bay CNA School.
